Our Vision
BUILDING A FUTURE FOR PSYCHEDELIC END OF LIFE CARE
We envision a world in which birth and death are honored as sacred transitions, and every person facing serious or life-limiting illness has access to safe, ethical, and spiritually informed psychedelic care that supports dignity, meaning, and human connection.
EOLPC grew from a recognition that the emotional, existential, and spiritual needs of people facing serious illness and dying are not always adequately addressed by our existing systems of care.
Our founder, Christine Caldwell, first witnessed this while running a 250-client home health agency. Years later, emerging psychedelic research revealed new possibilities for addressing distress, meaning, and our relationship with mortality. Those two worlds came together in the founding of EOLPC in 2023.
But expanding psychedelic end-of-life care requires more than access to psychedelic medicines. It requires building a field capable of supporting this work responsibly.

THE FUTURE WE ARE WORKING TOWARD
Our vision is not simply for EOLPC to grow. It is for people facing serious illness to have more choices, practitioners to be better prepared, families to have greater support, and psychedelic care to become part of a broader understanding of compassionate, whole-person care at the end of life.
