We understand the deep care, compassion and empathy you bring to your role and the difference you can make in someone’s life. With EOLPC’s mission to expand psychedelic care for those with a life-threatening or terminal diagnoses, we offer education classes for anyone who already serves in a doula, spiritual, mental health or palliative/hospice care setting or you are someone who wants to. Our Members Forum also provides the opportunity for peer networking, collaboration, and mentorship so that we can all support and learn from each other.

EOLPC offers a wide range of courses for anyone who wants to learn more about how psychedelic care can help ease anxiety and depression over the fear of dying while also helping to bring a new sense of meaning and purpose in the present moment and, for some, an embodied sense of the “next place.”
Courses are taught by experts in the field of psychedelic care with a deep knowledge of end-of-life issues. Each course is taught through the lens of caring for someone with a terminal diagnosis and includes such topics as psilocybin, ketamine, screening and assessment, preparation and integration, spirituality, mindfulness, bereavement, self and client care, and much more.

Due to the popularity of the first Core Course Program, EOLPC is offering the program again in 2024. This EOLPC Core Course Program is designed for anyone who wants to learn how psychedelic care can benefit someone with a life-threatening or terminal illness. Taught by respected and experienced leaders in their respective fields, the Program covers introductory sessions on psilocybin, ketamine, screening and assessment, preparation and integration, and ethical and legal considerations, all with a lens to the end-of-life issues your clients or patients face.

CME Course: Integrating Ketamine Therapy into Palliative Care: Evidence, Protocols, and Practice – Next Cohort – Fall 2026
This four-session CME course is designed for ketamine providers seeking to establish or expand their practice into palliative and end-of-life care. Participants will learn evidence-based approaches to dosing, protocols, patient assessment, and integration while gaining practical guidance on regulatory, legal, and practice management essentials. Delving Deep into the Medicines: Responsible Dosing for End of LIfe Care – October 2026
One of our most popular courses! When it comes to psychedelic work with those facing the end of life, questions around dosing and stacking often go unanswered. This three-hour workshop offers a practical, in-depth exploration of psychedelic medicine use in end-of-life care. Led by two experienced facilitators, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of psilocybin, ketamine, MDMA, 5-MeO-DMT, and other relevant medicines. Designed for guides, clinicians, and caregivers ready to go beyond the basics, this course will help you dose responsibly, especially when working with the unique complexities of end-of-life care.
Cannabis Therapy for End of Life, Summer 2026
Cannabis at end of life has proven to offer anti-anxiety, inflammatory soothing and sleep enhancing properties. Finding the right strain can take experimentation to elicit response since everyone’s Endocannabinoid system is different and depend on the disease process and metabolism issues. Not only this, but in last days and vigil periods, a little cannabis can also be good for the entire family to accentuate the peace and help create a spiritual cocoon around the patient instead of stress and anxiety. This course will provide a basic tutorial on cannabis and how best to use it in the care for those toward the end of life.
Understanding Grief and Loss for Psychedelic Practitioners: Foundational Concepts and Applications in Individual and Group Work, Winter 2027
This four-session online course begins by building a grounded foundation in understanding grief itself, how it unfolds across the brain, body, relationships, and lived experience, before expanding into applications within psychedelic practice and group work. Through didactic teaching, case discussion, interactive exercises, reflection, and modeled facilitation, participants will have opportunities to connect the material to both their personal experience and professional practice.
iSpiritual Dimensions for Psychedelic Practitioners, Winter 2027,
Designed for practitioners working, or seeking to work, at the intersection of psychedelic care, serious illness, and end-of-life support, this 3 session online and interactive course provides a practical foundation in spiritual assessment, meaning-making, and spiritually responsive care. Through teaching, reflection, discussion, and experiential exercises, participants will develop core spiritual care competencies that can be immediately applied within psychedelic, palliative, hospice, and end-of-life settings.
Led by Buddhist chaplain, hospice nurse, and psychedelic facilitator Rhiana Wiggins, this three-session course explores how practitioners can recognize, accompany, and support the spiritual excavation that often unfolds during these profound experiences.
Mindfulness, Microdosing, and Dementia, Winter 2027
As interest in psychedelic medicine continues to grow, questions are emerging about whether carefully designed microdosing approaches may offer meaningful support for people living with cognitive impairment and for the caregivers who walk beside them. This workshop provides a thoughtful, evidence-informed framework for exploring these questions through the combined lenses of mindfulness, compassionate end-of-life care, and practical protocol design.
Led by mindfulness teacher, author, and microdosing educator Lauren Alderfer, this interactive 3 hour workshop combines presentation, experiential learning, guided mindfulness practice, and discussion. Participants will develop a practical understanding of mindfulness as an approach to end-of-life care while learning Lauren’s Microdosing Protocol for individuals with mild to moderate cognitive impairment and her companion Microdosing+ Protocol designed specifically to support caregivers.

Connector Membership
The Connector Membership gives you all the benefits of Colleague Membership with the added ability to be connected with prospective clients. Eligibility for the Connector Membership is based on experience and/or training in both psychedelic care and end of life care.
Once you complete the Create a Profile Form, it will be reviewed for eligibility and you will be notified of automatic approval in the Connector Directory or the criteria requirements that are missing. You always have the ability to update your profile as you complete the requirements and submit it again.
The public-facing Connector Directory launches June 2024 with targeted consumer outreach programs.
