What if aging and end of life were not simply stages to manage, but invitations to become more intentional about how we live, relate, and prepare for what comes next?

Following her EOLPC workshop, Mindfulness, Microdosing, and Dementia, Lauren Alderfer, PhD, returns to EOLPC to explore how mindfulness and mindful microdosing can inform a broader relationship with aging and end of life.

Rather than approaching aging only through the lens of decline, this 4-session, 8-hour course invites participants to examine the beliefs and assumptions we carry about growing older and dying, while exploring how mindful microdosing may support brain health as we age. Each session begins with a guided mindfulness practice, building over the course into a personal toolkit for intentional aging and preparation for end of life.

Lauren brings together mindfulness practice and the practical foundations of microdosing to help participants develop their own guiding principles for aging and end of life. Within this framework, microdosing becomes one tool for supporting brain health and a more intentional approach to how we age, live, and prepare for what comes next.

Through mindful inquiry, self-reflection, and sharing, participants will:

  • Establish a foundation of mindfulness qualities
  • Experience several mindfulness practices tailored to preparation for EoL
  • Contemplate beliefs around aging and EoL
  • (Re)Define aging and EoL
  • Learn the nuts and bolts of microdosing
  • Learn a microdosing protocol for brain health
  • Establish a container to support mindful aging and EoL

BONUS: Participants will receive access to the recording of Lauren’s first EOLPC workshop, Mindfulness, Microdosing, and Dementia, providing additional grounding in the relationship between mindfulness, microdosing, brain health, and cognitive aging.

Please note: This course is highly interactive and is best experienced live. The sessions will be recorded, however, if you are unable to attend.
