What if we could practice meeting death before we actually meet it?
Ketamine is often described as the psychedelic experience closest to a near-death experience, and end-of-life workers sometimes describe a ketamine session as a rehearsal for dying.
This workshop takes that literally.
In this three-hour interactive workshop, participants move through a substance-free rehearsal of a ketamine journey, from preparation through journey and integration. Yogic and body-mind practices designed to access the mystical dimensions associated with the ketamine state are woven together with ritual, reflection, and meaning-making. Together, these practices support connection, transcendence, emotional release, and exploration of the existential and spiritual concerns that often arise in the context of serious and life-threatening illness.
No ketamine or other medicine is used. The ketamine state is the reference point for the workshop, not part of the session.
Rather than simply learning about these practices, participants learn by doing, developing a felt understanding of the territory and practical methods they can adapt for their own clients.
Attendance is donation-based. The workshop reflects EOLPC’s commitment to interdisciplinary education that honors both the clinical and psycho-spiritual dimensions of dying while supporting ethical, grounded approaches to psychedelic-assisted end-of-life care.
This workshop is best to experienced live but it will be recorded for those unable to attend.
