Education • Connection • Research & Knowledge Building • Models of Care
EOLPC’s four pillars work together to build the knowledge, relationships, and models needed to advance psychedelic care for people facing serious illness.
Courses and workshops for practitioners and professionals working at the intersection of psychedelic care, serious illness, and end of life.
In practice: EOLPC provides an integrated range of educational opportunities, from free events that introduce emerging topics and perspectives, to in-depth courses and workshops that build knowledge and practical skills, to an ongoing mentorship program where practitioners can learn from experienced mentors, discuss real-world cases, and deepen their practice.
Result: As of September 2026, there have been 8,000 registrations for our free events and more than 700 students have enrolled in our professional courses!
Building relationships and community among practitioners, organizations, and others committed to advancing psychedelic care for people facing serious illness.
In practice: EOLPC creates multiple ways for people to connect, including a Member Forum for professional dialogue and community building, a Connector Directory that helps people find practitioners, organizations, and resources, and the Journey Circle, a free, ongoing gathering for people facing serious illness who are considering or have experienced psychedelic care.
Result: A growing network that connects professionals with one another while creating safe spaces for people facing serious illness.
Building the evidence base and advancing understanding of psychedelic care for people facing serious illness.
In practice: EOLPC collaborated with University of Chicago researcher Zak Arrington, PhD-C, on the Psychedelic Deathworker Study, examining the experiences and practices of people providing psychedelic support at the end of life.
Result: Preliminary Report presented at MAPS Psychedelic Science 2025.
Developing and supporting practical models that make psychedelic care safer, more accessible, and responsive to the needs of people facing serious illness.
In practice: In collaboration with Ligare and the Insitute for Rural Psychedelic Care, EOLPC is piloting the Home-based Ketamine and Spiritual Care Program for palliative and hospice patients.
Goal: A replicable model designed to inform future approaches to psychedelic palliative care. See HBKS Program Description for more information.
